WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. The verbal inspiration of the Bible.
2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 1: Revelation 22:18 & 19; Jesus-John 21:24 & 25

2. One God appeared in three persons; namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Genesis 1:1-2; Matthews 3:13-17; St. John 4:24, 16:7 & 13, 10:29- 30, 14:6, 7 & 15-18.

3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

Matthew 1:18-23; St. John 1:18; St. John 19:16-18, 38-42; Luke 24:1-8; Romans 8:34.

4. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded by God, for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
Romans 3:23; Luke 13:1-5.

5. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 9:22; Romans 4:25, 5:1; Titus 3:3 & 4-7

6. In sanctification subsequent to the new birth through faith in the blood of Christ, through the word and by the Holy Ghost.

7. Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.

Leviticus 19:2; Titus 2:7-14; Ephesians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:13-16

8. In the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

Jeremiah 17:9; Psalm 51:10; Acts 15:8, 9.

9. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. That is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

10. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of Jesus.

11. Divine healing is provided for in the atonement.
Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24; Romans 4:25, 5:1-11.

12. In the Lord’s supper, and washing of the saints’ feet.

1 Corinthians 10:16; 1 Corinthians 11:24-26; St. John 13:5-15.

13. In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to him in the air. Second to reign on the earth a thousand years.

14. In the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
